SFG Australia Chief Financial Office Leaves For Bank Job

, the Sydney-headquartered financial advisory and wealth management firm, has announced the departure of its chief financial officer, with effect from 11 July 2014. Linda Fox is leaving her roles as company secretary and CFO to join Commonwealth Bank of Australia "based on her own career goals," said the firm in a statement on the Australian Securities Exchange website. The CFO post will be assumed in the interim by Andrew Crowther, who will start in 10 June on a contract capacity to ensure the smooth completion of its acquisition by IOOF. The company secretary role will be handed to the SFGA head of legal, Jonathan Swain, in 11 July. IOOF offered to take over the firm in early May for A$670 million ($624 million). Crowther is currently the head of the save to invest project at BT Financial and previously served as CFO and general manager for finance at Colonial First State, also a CBA-owned firm.
